Stockport MP Visit as part of 125 Year Celebrations
Last month Stockport MP Ann Coffey and BPIF Regional Director Chris Selby joined us as part of our 125 year celebrations. They accompanied the Directors on a tour of the factory, met the staff and cut the celebratory cake.
The actual anniversary was on 15th February. The company was originally based in Stockport town centre until 1920, since when it has resided in the Cheadle Heath suburb of the town.
The visit went really well. Ann Coffey was extremely interested and asked lots of good questions. She told us that, in the current day and age, to have a company that is thriving, profitable, investing and recruiting is great news for the North West. She has been here before around 10 or 15 years ago and commented that she recognised the investments that we’ve made since.
