New Smyth Sewing Machine

Our new sewing machine has arrived from Italy together with a purpose built folding unit.  This will take in upto four sheets to a maximum of 900mm x 610mm fold them to create a single section and then sew. This represents a major efficiency step for us as we previously had to fold and inset the sheets by hand, before sewing on our semi-automatic 1955 Martini Sewing Machine.  Installation and training is taking place over the next couple of weeks before being fully operation from mid March. This will be the only machine of its type in the world.
