Self Published Books - Case Study

Sefton Steam Art: The Book

This self-published book  is a remarkable collection of steam locomotive artwork. It was compiled by Matt Sefton who had an ambition to produce a book of the entire collection of his dad’s steam paintings. The book includes 245 painting and drawings and over 100 reference and archive photographs. It also includes detailed histories of the locomotives written by the co author Richard Bryan.

248 page lavish hardback book with dust jacket and embossed cover. In this video on his Facebook page Matt shows the book . You can read more about Sefton Steam Art on the Website

The book has turned out far beyond my expectation and I think you will really enjoy it.

Hi Matt, the book arrived today! I’ve just had a quick look, but I have to say I think it is the best book I’ve ever bought. Not really one for coffee table type books, but this is so much more. The drawings and paintings are wonderfully reproduced and it is truly a work of art. Thanks!
