The Tallest of Tales

Shaped Children’s Book

Deanprint excel  when it comes to unusual specialist bookbinding. This can make a book more interesting, engaging and memorable. This shaped children’s book is designed to capture a child’s interest and engage them in the story.

This singer sewn children’s book had a couple of complications to challenge us here at Deanprint. There was an undersized 4-page section to be sewn in the centre which is difficult because you can only knock this section up to the bottom edge. So our girls had to carefully hold this section in position with their thumbs and carefully feed through the sewing machine. Once the book was sewn it had to be die-cut to form the roof shape and the opening door on the front. Just another typical job for us here at Deanprint!

‘Just wanted to say I was simply delighted with the book Deanprint produced for me, at such short notice.  I presented it to my colleague and she loved it.  It will be something she can keep forever.  It looked brilliant; every bit as good as I imagined it to be.  It has been a pleasure to work with you on this.’
